Advanced Research Algorithm Developer – Israel

Join us to become a member of the CathWorks team driving a revolution in interventional cardiology. Your contribution will facilitate the development and commercialization of FFRangio, a ground-breaking software based medical device that uses diagnostic coronary angiograms, instead of a wire, to provide a physiology map to guide intervention. As an integral part of the CathWorks’ team, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on the effort to bring this cutting-edge technology to the global market.

As an Advanced Algorithm Developer you will design and develop complex algorithms involving extraction of 3D information from asynchronously acquired 2D x-ray images of a moving object. The work includes collaboration with other algorithm developers and product teams to refine and enhance existing applications. You will also solve complex practical problems, propose mathematical models, compose and edit high-quality technical documentation, and generate and write patents.

Job Requirements:

6+ years of experience in development of algorithms such as computer vision
High proficiency in MATLAB
Experience in medical imaging applications
Familiarity with signal processing, Graph Theory, Optimization, Segmentation, 3D reconstruction
Experience with computer vision and image processing
M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field
